SNAP MANAGE REGISTRATION SYSTEM FOR FALL 2024 - 2025 IS OPEN!!!

 

ALL POTENTIAL STUDENT - ATHLETES MUST REGISTER WITH SNAP MANAGE TO BE ELIGIBLE TO TRY OUT FOR A WINTER SPORT 2024-2025.  PLEASE SCROLL DOWN TO FIND MORE INFORMATION ON SNAP MANAGE.

  • Please utilize the TEAM TABS on the left hand side of the screen as well as the information tabs at the top of the page. Answers to the majority of questions you may have can be found here! 

 
  • You can find all coaches email addresses under their team page, and by clicking on their coaches' page. Reach out to the head coach via email for more information for your specific sport! You can also click on Team Info to learn more about schedules, calendars for off-season training.

2024-2025 SG SPORTS INFORMATION


All new and returning students who wish to participate in any of our sports programs must have an updated DIAA physical form uploaded in their Snap Manage Account. Physcial exams must be completed or cleared to participate on or after April 1, 2024.  The updated physical forms link can be found under the sports menu on the left of this page.  If you have any questions please email John Wilson, Director of Athletics at john.wilson@nccvt.k12.de.us

Student Athlete College Signings


If you are playing your sport in college, have or will sign a letter of intent with that program, and want to join in a school celebration for this accomplishment, you must download and complete the attached form 2 weeks prior to the signing dates.  The dates where we will host a school celebration are the following:
Wednesday, November 13, 2024 
Thursday, April 17, 2024

Activity Buses and Athletic Parking


6PM Activity buses run Monday - Thursday. However, on Friday's the activity bus will depart at 5:30 p.m. There will be no Activity buses  during holidays or the day before a holiday, professional development days, or asynchronous days. 

Reminder to students and visitors coming to St. Georges Tech: No cars are permitted to park in the bus port lot by the stadium. This area is reserved for buses and emergency vehicles. All cars are expected to utilize the front parking lot. Thanks for your cooperation in keeping this area clear.

SG Wellness Center is now open!


The New Castle County Vocational-Technical School District School Based Health Centers (SBHC) are open for the summer and we are scheduling appointments following CDC guidelines!  Please call your high school SBHC to schedule an appointment.   The SBHC’s are comprehensive primary health care facilities located within the schools.  Multidisciplinary teams of professionals provide a wide range of services including sports physicals, routine checkups/physical exams, immunizations, mental health services, nutrition services, and more!  All children enrolled at the school may use the SBHC regardless of income or health care coverage.  You must be registered with the SBHC to use the services, and the registration link for St. Georges Technical High School can be found below.

Football Spectator Procedures




St. Georges Football Spectator Policies 

 

Below please find the policies for home football games being held at St. Georges Technical High School  this season. These policies are put in place to ensure the safety of all spectators, as well as the teams. Failure to follow the procedures outlined below may result in your removal from the game. 

 

Tickets/Cost 

1. The cost to enter Varsity FOOTBALL games is $5.00 for everyone. 

2. All tickets must be purchased ONLINE at Home Town Tickets NO cash will be accepted or tickets sold at the gate.

  1. Tickets must be purchased before 3:00 p.m. on the day of the game online via  HOME TOWN TICKETS

  2. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the gate (We will not accept cash at the door). 

  3.  For events requiring a ticket, please have your ticket open on your phone upon entering the stadium

  4. Students not accompanied by an adult need SCHOOL ID and must be from the competing schools.

*NCCVT and  St. Georges reserve the right to deny admission to any of its athletic events* 

Spectator Procedures/Policies 

The following procedures and protocols will be in place for all spectators at St. Georges Football games.

  1. Ticket is required for entry. Go to HOME TOWN TICKET to purchase tickets. 

  2. Spectators must enter the game via the main entrance to the stadium. Gates will not open until 10:15 a.m. after the buses have left the bus parking lot. 

  3. Only spectators with ties to the two teams or schools will be permitted to enter into the game. This includes family members, students, faculty, and staff of the participating teams.

  4. No entrance to the game after the end of the third quarter. 

  5. No re-entry to the game at any time.  

  6. No ski masks or full face gators are permitted. 

  7. Spectators are not permitted to enter the playing field at any time for any reason. 

  8. At the conclusion of the game all spectators should exit through the stadium  entrance in a timely manner. Visiting teams will be exiting a side gate at the conclusion of the game. 

  9. Media who are hired by players, or who do not have proper credentials, must purchase a ticket. They must follow the NCCVT security policies and must remain in a seat during the game; not permitted to be on sidelines.

  10. An outside security agency will be in attendance as well as the use of security wands to ensure a safe environment.

Winter Sports Spectator Protocols


St. Georges Winter Sports Spectator Policies 

 

Below please find the policies for home basketball games being held at St. Georges Technical High School  this season. These policies are put in place to ensure the safety of all spectators, as well as the teams. Failure to follow the procedures outlined below may result in your removal from the game. 

Tickets/Cost 

1. The cost to enter Varsity  basketball tournament games is $5.00 for everyone. 

2. All tickets must be purchased ONLINE. NO cash will be accepted or tickets sold at the gate.

  1. Tickets must be purchased before 12:00 p.m. on the day of the game  online via Ticket Spicket on your sports web page. 

  2. Tickets WILL NOT be sold at the gate (We will not accept cash at the door). 

  3.  For events requiring a ticket, please have your ticket open on your phone upon entering the gym lobby. 

  4. Students not accompanied by an adult need SCHOOL ID and must be from the competing schools.

*NCCVT and  St. Georges reserve the right to deny admission to any of its athletic events* 

There are No tickets required for Girls Basketball and Wrestling Matches. However, spectators will be expected to follow the same procedures and protocols outlined below.

  6. No outside food or drink including door dash. 

  7. No bags are to be brought into the gym. 

  8. No fan seating will be allowed behind the team benches. 

  9. No fan seating will be allowed in the first row of bleachers. 

  10. No ski masks or full face gators are permitted. 

  11. Spectators are not permitted to enter the playing court at any time for any reason. 

  12. At the conclusion of the game all spectators should exit through the gym lobby in a timely manner. Visiting teams will not be re-entering the gym following the game. 

  13. Media who are hired by players, or who do not have proper credentials, must purchase a ticket. They must follow the NCCVT security policies and must remain in a seat during the game; not permitted to be on sidelines or in the first row.

 

*Please note that an outside security agency will be in attendance as well as the use of metal detectors to ensure a safe environment.

PARKING FOR ATHLETIC EVENTS AND PICK UP


Attention ALL Hawk Parents, Students, and Spectators:

For the safety of students and spectators, please use the main parking lot for all contests in our turf stadium and the parking lot adjacent to the baseball field for baseball and softball games.  There is not to be any traffic in the bus lot or parking in our fire lanes behind the school.  These areas are for busses and emergency vehicles only.  Please pick up student athletes in the front of the school after practices and contests.  Thank you for your attention to this.

We are all on the same team!


PLEASE HELP US PROMOTE A POSITIVE AND SUPPORTIVE ENVIRONMENT SURROUNDING OUR STUDENT ATHLETES BY FOLLOWING THESE BASIC GUIDELINES:
  • Attend our sport events whenever possible
  • Use positive cheers and support during contests
  • Appreciate good play, regardless of what team makes it
  • Avoid being critical of student athletes performance during and after events (remember PCA guidelines for the drive home)
  • Accept officials' rulings even if you disagree with them
  • Volunteer your support to our programs and communicate your availability to your student athlete's coaches and athletic director
